SAWMILLS
The UK's biggest NYE dance music event is back this year, featuring 6 brand-new stage builds, 15+ genres, over 100 acts and an interactive quest to take part in on the night.
We’re bringing back the full festival experience, with a few additions this year: new fairground rides, food vendors, immersive actors and much more.
Attendees embark on a journey of discovery as they explore each stage, each representing a different calling and place of belonging to be discovered. Nebula, Black Hole, Full Moon, Hyperspace, Eclipse and Be Your Alien.
Upon completion, they are welcomed into ‘The Extraordinary Civilisation’.
We’re calling all explorers to embark on a journey to the Moon to become part of the extraordinary civilisation.
Along your journey, every raver will have a unique journey across six arenas, each with a different calling of: Excitement, Belonging, Unity, Power, Balance & Authenticity.
You must collect a fragment from every arena to complete your wristband and join the Extraordinary Civilisation and collect your prizes.
There are 6 experiences to go through: Nebula, Black Hole, Full Moon, Hyperspace, Eclipse & Be Your Alien.
All journeys start inside the Nebula, this is where stars are born.
It’s a region for discovery and creation where characteristics are built and paths are shaped. Every headliner was once a star waiting to be discovered in a place like the Nebula Arena.
Reflecting the ambition and potential of this next generation, the Nebula Arena is full of bright, vibrant colours and filled with excitement.
The artists here are your future stars.
Somewhere along your journey, you get drawn into the Black Hole. Leaving behind the outside light and buzz of the festival, you find a place where everything else fades away.
Reality as you know it is left at the door as you get completely lost and absorbed in the present moment. Although the walls are physical, the experience is completely beyond this.
The artist becomes the singularity; attention belongs to them and the collective consciousness of the room follows what they play.
Despite disconnecting in there, you emerge having found a true sense of belonging.
Entering Hyperspace is one of the most powerful moments on this journey.
It’s a dimension where speed, light, sound and intensity collide, creating a mesmerising environment that pushes every sense to its limit.
Endless waves of colour and lasers combine to amplify the impact of the arena.
Designed to be shared with your closest friends, this is where the civilisation reaches its greatest strength.
When the drive you draw from these connections is paired with the unavoidable momentum within the Hyperspace Arena, you’re provided with all the power that you need to complete the quest.
Eclipse is where the Sun and Moon align, bringing together the powerful forces of light and dark until everything falls into balance. Everything you've experienced throughout the journey comes together here.
The excitement discovered within the Nebula, the belonging found in the Black Hole, the unity created beneath the Full Moon, and the power drawn from Hyperspace all become one.
Together, they merge to create an unforgettable midnight countdown of sound, light, fire and emotion. This is the moment where every part of the civilisation is connected.
Eclipse collates every arena, every experience and every emotion, bringing the journey into perfect harmony and balance.
Every arena you've explored, every sound you've felt and every moment you've shared along your path has led to this.
Together, they have unlocked something within you, preparing you for the final step.
Being your Alien means embracing your authentic self. Not the version shaped by expectations or performed for others, but the unapologetic person you are when no one else is watching.
It’s about embracing what makes you different, because individuality is what gives the civilisation its strength.
The Be Your Alien Arena welcomes you into a realm where self-expression has no limits, individuality is championed and the unknown becomes familiar.
Artists are encouraged to play exactly what they want, not what’s usually expected or known to come from them. It can be a completely different style of music, something they’ve wanted to do for ages; this is their opportunity to reveal their Alien.
You have now discovered the truth, the Moon was never your final destination. This path and journey was never about where you were going, it was all about your progression in yourself.
Every lesson, every challenge and every experience has prepared you for this moment. You have now joined the extraordinary civilisation.
This is just the beginning of the story.
Welcome.
